Setsu signs with us at the LA Times Festival of Books, 2010
SETSU BRODERICK, author and illustrator of Japanese Traditions: Rice Cakes, Cherry Blossoms and Matsuri, grew up in a small country village in Western Japan in the 1950s. After attending art college in Osaka, Japan, Setsu worked as an illustrator and designer for the gift industry in Los Angeles for about 30 years. Prior to Japanese Traditions, she illustrated six books. Setsu’s illustrations, designs and artwork are exhibited throughout the world. (submitted 6/2010)
